“Location is unbeatable — everything inside the moat is walkable and the Sunday market is at the door. The old house has real character.”

Superb
2,104 guest reviewsA century-old teak house inside the moat, converted room by room over the last decade by the family who grew up in it. The building is arranged around a courtyard with a bodhi tree and a coffee bar that opens at six for early temple visits. Rooms keep the original wooden shutters and floorboards; the newer wing at the back is quieter and has air conditioning throughout. Wat Phra Singh is a four-minute walk, the Sunday Walking Street market begins at the end of the soi, and the family's own songthaew runs guests to Doi Suthep in the morning. Cooking classes and Elephant Nature Park bookings are arranged at the desk at cost.
Couples love it hereThey rated the location 9.8 for a two-person trip.

“Nok arranged everything — cooking class, elephant sanctuary, airport pickup — all at honest prices.”
The old wing has thin wooden walls. Ask for the garden wing if you're a light sleeper.
